Santander Additions
Santander Additions give you the opportunity to sell General Insurance and add value to you and your client.
The range includes:
Bedroom Plus insurance
- allows client to choose their own buildings sum insured
- contents cover up to £55000 is automatically provided
- a range of discounts for first time buyers and extra security
- no claims discount that will not be totally lost at the first claim - just stepped back
Landlords Insurance
- buildings insurance that covers full accidental damage
- specified buildings sum insured (up to £700,000)
- contents included of up to 7.5% of the buildings sum insured at no extra cost for landlords' fixtures and fittings
- up to 5 properties can be covered by one customer
New Build Insurance
- discounted pricing for properties built within the last 2 years
- more covered as standard including accidental damage
- no claims discount that will not be totally lost at the first claim - just stepped back
MPPI
- prices are based on age which means your clients pay according to individual risk
- choice of back to day one cover or 30 day excess
- includes cover for stress and back related problems (subject to standard medical evidence)
- choose level of benefit up to a maximum of 150% of mortgage costs or £1,650 whichever is the lower and with a maximum limited of 60% of income
- back to work support services

Note 1 - only bedroom plus policies written on Santander Additions online system receive 20%, policies written on Santander Additions desktop system will receive 15%
Registering for Santander Additions software
To sign up for Santander Additions click here and complete the broker registration form. You will need your unique ID Number that you use to log into Introducer Internet to complete the form (eg ABC D 123456P). If you don’t know your ID please contact your Regional Office.
Your registration will be validated within 24 hours and you will be sent a confirmation email with a link to download the software.
