R06 exam – we’re here to help
R06 is a relatively new exam designed to test the suitability of advice. Two weeks before the exam, candidates receive two fact finds which will form the basis of the final exam.

Helping you prepare for your AF5 exam - free online support for PFS members
The Personal Finance Society, in association with Zurich, has commissioned exam preparation and revision materials from technical specialists Technical Connection, to help you with your studies for AF5 Financial Planning Process.
The first is available now and focuses on exam technique, with tips on how to prepare to give you the best chance of passing the exam.
The second webcast will become accessible a week before the exam (a week after you have received your advanced copy of the exam fact-find) and will focus on helping you to analyse the fact-find, so that you are able to draw out all of the salient information, to give you the best chance of preparing a comprehensive financial planning report in the exam.
Both webcasts are expected to have a running time of circa 40-60 minutes. They will be presented as audio files accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation.
